The Witch

Once upon a time, a young man named Andrew was strolling down a winding street when he came across a stunning woman with blond hair and blue eyes who was sobbing softly.

Being naturally curious, he approached her and inquired as to if she needed help. In a stammering voice, the girl said that her mother is a witch who uses her as a tool. She left her house as a result, but the witch is still chasing her, which makes her feel afraid. Also, he learned the girl's name was Alice. After hearing the tale, he offered to help her, which let Alice feel a little more at ease. Then Andrew led Alice to a secret house in the middle of a forest that was sealed off from view so that not even a high-class witch could find it. A few days later, the witch confronted Andrew and threatened to bring dire consequences upon him if he didn't reveal where her daughter was.

Even though the witch was very intimidating he refused to give off her location. The witch took a quick glance at him and said, "okay then" and asked her assistant to provide some intel about him. After a quick pause the assistant replied "Name: Andrew, 19 years old, works at a coffee shop and has a fear of his unpleasant history, which he wishes to forget". Andrew asked with a shocked voice "how did you know that??!!". "I have my ways" replied the witch and continued "will you reveal the location of my daughter or experience recurring dreams about the past". Getting your horrible past played over and over is a horrible thing. Though Andrew would face a tough time for eternity if he didn't reveal Alice's location, he still didn't budge. The witch then cursed him to have nightmares of his past every time he sleeps and said I'll come after 4 years to see if he changed his mind. The witch appeared again four years later with a grin on her face to see if he changed his mind. To her surprise she found him living the best life and so she shouted "HOW??!!". Andrew then replied "memories of deep regrets, memories of getting hurt and being abandoned. Only those with such memories in their hearts will become stronger, more passionate and emotionally flexible. And those can attain happiness". The witch then failed to achieve her goal and thus retreated and never came back. Andrew would meet Alice once a week to give her some food provisions and they lived happily ever after.
