Memories of Another World (Part 1)

Matt is a young man who died before reuniting with his childhood friend who disappeared five years ago. Rio is a boy living in the slums who wants revenge for his mother who was murdered in front of him when he was five years old. Earth and another world. Two people with completely different backgrounds and values. For some reason, the memories and personality of Matt who should've died is resurrected in Rio's body. As the two are confused over their memories and personalities fusing together, Rio decides to live in this new world. Along with Matt's memories, Rio awakens an unknown "special power," and it seems that if he uses it well, he can live a better life. But before that, Rio encounters a kidnapping that turns out to be of a princess of the Bertram Kingdom that he lives in.

After saving the princess, Rio is given a scholarship at the Royal Academy, a school for the rich and powerful. Being a poor orphan in a school of nobles turns out to be an extremely detestable place to be. Why? Naturally, he was ridiculed. Everyone thought less of him since he was an orphan and teased him. They also blamed him anytime someone made a mistake. However, the princess that Rio saved and her sisters were also students there. So they would always defend Rio whenever he was made fun of. The professor was abit young because at the age of 13, she was promoted to professor due to her incredible knack for understanding things.

As a professor she also protected Rio and was the only person Rio would feel comfortable with. I almost forgot to add. Speaking is something Rio is good at. Man, he responds savagely to his bullies in a way that makes them powerless to stop him. Rio found it difficult to read the language of the other planet, but because he had studied at the university there in a previous life, he had no trouble at all with mathematics on a five-year level. He also studied hard to understand the language of this planet and after the examinations he was ranked first in every subject. His bullies falsely accused him for cheating but was quickly hushed due to lack of sufficient proof.

In combat lessons, he excelled as well because he had previously studied martial. His position, albeit he was prepared to battle, was significantly dissimilar from that of the inhabitants of that world. However, they were very taken aback when they saw how well-defended he was while yet having full reign to assault. Considering his incredible talent, he was kindly asked if he wanted to join the royal knights but he declined the offer.
